  • analyse a wide range of different types of texts, exploring the different strategies and styles of composing ict
  • assess the effectiveness of particular types of texts in achieving their purposes
  • Understand the connections between language, context and meaning
  • Respond to and compose texts
  • use text structures and language features to communicate ideas and information in a range of media and digital technologies, for example explaining workplace procedures, using navigation bars to create a web page, and developing a character’s back story (ACEEE012, ACEEE026) weictpsc
  • experiment with a variety of expressive forms and styles to develop effective ways to communicate and express their own ideas psccc
  • use a widening vocabulary with control and for particular effects
  • edit their own and others work to improve clarity, accuracy and expressiveness in their use of language
